Originally producers of an excellent olive oil delicately named Oliu di Maria, Jean-Jacques and his father have been tending a century-old olive grove in the south of the “Island of Beauty” for over twenty years. At their shops in the seaside resort of Belvédère-Campomoro on the Gulf of Valinco and in Sartène (31 Cour Sœur Amélie, 20100 Sartène - Tel: 06-10-81-06-86), about 25 km away, they’ll introduce you to their own homemade delicacies, as well as artisanal Corsican specialties such as cured meats, raw-milk farm cheese, and other delights from Italy or the mainland. Terrines, tapenades, honey, jams, cookies, wines, beers, and even fresh fruits and vegetables will delight your gourmet palate. Every day, they create takeout dishes such as salads, quiches, pizzas, and other seasonal prepared meals.
