Gault&Millau's review

Winemaker Château des Rontets has been a family-run estate since 1870, situated in an enclosed area at the top of the hill overlooking the village of Fuissé. The estate has been certified organic since 2005. It is owned by the Franco-Italian couple Claire Gazeau and Fabio Montrasi, two architects who gave up their profession in 1993 to become winegrowers and winemakers. They know how to use their magnificent terroir to make superb Pouilly-Fuissé. Their wines are among the must-haves of the appellation.
