In the Entre-deux-mers region, this château became Le Pin Beausoleil in 1997. In 2004, a German couple bought the vineyard surrounding a highly original 14th-century building. The 7.5-hectare vineyard is a far cry from the standards of the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation. Since the 1998 vintage, with the help of Stéphane Derenoncourt, this château has become a benchmark, in particular through the defense of a notable proportion of Cabernet in the blends.
