Winemaker
The Domaine de la Bongran, certified organic since 2008, has been a family property for several centuries. It extends over 15 hectares of Quintaine land. Jean Thévenet and his son Gautier continue the tradition of white wines with residual sugar. The levrouté (mellow) label was made official for wines from the viré-clessé appellation in 2018. The wines combine light sweetness with acidic tension, making them a natural match for fine poultry.
