Winemaker
Philippe Teulier is Marcillac's "boss". The driving force behind the appellation, he drags in his wake the Aveyron producers proud of this particular grape, mansois (or fer servadou). Julien, his son, is at the helm of the estate with him. The fluidity of their blends stems from a perfect mastery of their vineyards, terraced in the Marcillac valley, a terroir likened to a mountain because of the hot days and cool nights of autumn.
