Domaine Guillemot-Michel is located in Quintaine, in the heart of the Viré-Clessé appellation in the Mâconnais region. In 1982, Pierrette Michel and Marc Guillemot returned to the family domaine. In 1985, they bottled their first vintage under the Guillemot-Michel name. They cultivate 6.5 ha of old Chardonnay vines, certified biodynamic since 2017. Since 2012, their daughter Sophie, now assisted by her husband Gautier Roussille, has taken over management of the estate. The wines are superb, and we never tire of this full-bodied style, with perfectly blended residual sugars.
