Winemaker
François Henry and his wife Laurence have been working the historically renowned Saint-Georges d'Orques terroir on 11 ha since 1992. Domaine Henry is also breathing new life into the forgotten grape varieties that made this terroir famous centuries ago. The result of ten years' research, a new cuvée, "Le Mailhol", marks the return of a memory wine similar to those produced in the 18th century in these terroirs, and appreciated by the 19th-century President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson.
