For the past 4 years, this pretty spa village in the Landes region has benefited from the gourmet ideas of Fournil de Saubusse, the local bakery and patisserie. The large, natural sourdough-based loaves sold by the slice are part of a fine range of speciality breads and Tradition baguettes in a variety of versions, to be enjoyed at any time of day. At mealtimes, hot dishes such as burritos, paninis and salads can also be enjoyed on the terrace. For breakfast, snacks or dessert, there's no shortage of temptations: classic butter pastries, travel cakes, regional specialties such as Basque cake, cannelés and a famous chocolate fondant.
