In the glass-fronted laboratory of their bakery-pastry shop in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, you can admire the bakers making their own fruit compotes and viennoiseries... from raw local produce. They can also make birthday cakes and personalized "pièces montées" to order. Chocolate moulds embellish the shop windows at festive times.
