In June 2024, Dominique Pelaud took over this bakery and patisserie, a veritable institution in the charming Charente village of Mansle-les-Fontaines. Passionate about craftsmanship and baking authenticity, Dominique and his team will enchant your taste buds with l'Artisane, a hazelnut-flavored baguette rolled in semolina, Diabémix, a special low-sugar bread, pure butter viennoiseries and original pastry creations made with Aquitaine flours and seasonal ingredients. Try the famous Coup de Soleil with peaches or raspberries, or the sublime pistachio religieuse and macaron, the house's signature desserts. Depending on the season, there's also a wide range of snacks to whet your appetite: salads, burgers, sandwiches, paninis, wraps and comfort food sold by the slice, such as lasagne or tartiflette. Dominique also creates chocolate subjects for the festive season, as well as pièces montées and delicious birthday cakes to order.
