Producer After a career in an office in the Oise region, Carole Mascarel left it all behind with her husband Bernard to cultivate aromatic and wild plants in the Marais-Vernier using permaculture techniques. Herbal teas, culinary herbs, salt blended with herbs or meadow carrot seeds for a slightly lemony flavor—perfect with fish—and syrups and vinegars made from nasturtium, rosemary, or elderflower. A special mention goes to the peppermint-nettle syrup. Products are sold directly at the farm (by appointment) or at the Berville-sur-Mer market on Friday evenings.
