Gault&Millau's review

Roaster Haute-Saône is proud to be home to one of France's best roasting craftsmen, Vincent Ballot, who lived a thousand and one lives before turning to coffee. With Barbara, his wife, they opened this house in their native village. For Vincent, coffees. For Barbara, teas and infusions. But they are obviously interchangeable in terms of their cultures. Barbara's range includes Plantes de France bio and Pu'Erh tea, which is said to improve with age. Vincent's range includes coffee from La Réunion, Yemen and the Galapagos Islands. Cookies, chocolates, shortbread, honeys... are further reasons to stop off at Marnay.
