Alfred Hotels has chosen Compiègne as the site for its debut. Located 300 meters from the train station and just a short walk from the historic center, this first property of the young French brand features 56 rooms on the banks of the Oise River. The atmosphere is designed to be warm, bright, and deliberately different from the standardized conventions of chain hotels, featuring natural materials, soothing tones, and the feel of a family home. Several workspaces round out the offerings, while the Compiègne Forest and the Imperial Castle naturally become visitors’ playgrounds. A promising debut for a brand that aims to develop urban hospitality on a human scale.
