Right in the center of Biarritz, this Art Deco hotel has been given a new lease on life by Sarah Lavoine, who has skilfully blended Belle Époque style and marine inspirations to instill a chic, contemporary and relaxed spirit. All open onto the ocean below, the 19 rooms and suites are decorated in the designer's signature blues and greens, with natural oak floors, pebble-shaped ottomans and ropes from the deck of a boat. This same spirit extends to the Pluma restaurant, which treats guests to locavore cuisine inspired by market produce. Fresh, creative dishes are served in the elegant blue seaside lounges in winter, or on the large terrace in summer.
