Renamed Maison Louise, it has joined Accor’s Handwritten collection under the leadership of KER Hospitality, following a complete renovation. The positioning is clear: a 4-star hotel with the feel of an independent boutique hotel, featuring 82 rooms that blend contemporary elegance with nods to the owner’s history—a rally enthusiast and former amateur co-driver in the Paris-Dakar Rally. The result is a warm and inviting atmosphere, featuring a bar, a breakfast menu highlighting local products, and several meeting spaces. Its location in Vieux-Lille is a clear asset for leisure travelers: the main tourist attractions are just a few minutes’ walk away. This intriguing transformation illustrates, once again, the strategy of major hotel groups to personalize their urban properties to meet a growing demand for authenticity.
