A hidden gem, known only to those in the know… Tucked away at the end of an alley in Upper Montmartre, this dream hotel is housed in a stately mansion that once belonged to the Guerrand-Hermès family before passing to the Comtet family and their son Oscar, who now runs the place. Oscar restored the five suites under the guidance of interior designer Pierre Lacroix, creating magnificent retreats named “Grand Tralala” or “Jardin sur le Nil,” which now showcase their drapery, early 20th-century furniture, and Art Deco mosaic bathrooms—not to mention the sumptuous “Les Folies du Ciel” with its glass roof opening onto the rooftops of Paris. The cocktail bar Le Très Particulier is adorned with velvet armchairs and beautiful wood paneling, as is the restaurant, where guests can enjoy a bistronomic feast served in an incredible green setting (the capital’s largest hotel garden) as soon as the warm weather arrives.
