As Strasbourg’s first eco-friendly hotel, Tandem embodies its mission right in its name—a tribute to the “little queen” (the bicycle) and the 600 km of bike paths that the city and its outskirts offer. As welcoming as it is eco-conscious, this retreat features 70 rooms (named Échappée, Peloton, or Tandem depending on the category) that are as cozy as they are stylish, decorated in shades of green, blue, or powder pink. All rooms offer micro-filtered water and organic teas and are equipped with recycling bins, encouraging eco-friendly practices. On the ground floor, a large open space features coworking areas and an eco-friendly restaurant where guests can enjoy organic products sourced from local small-scale farms, all as part of a zero-waste initiative. Just a stone’s throw away, the bar and wine bar also embody the local spirit with real gems like gin from the Strasbourg distillery and a remarkable selection of Alsatian wines.
