Exceptional Hotel
Tucked away in the heart of old Nîmes, this former 18th-century coaching inn has been extensively restored by Anabelle and Christophe Valentin, who have designed it as a luxurious yet cosy family home. Each of the 14 rooms is unique, combining four-poster beds with period furniture, tassel chandeliers and bathrooms with sumptuous antique bathtubs. The same 18th-century spirit infuses the lounges and the Napoleon III bar, which you reach after strolling through the cloister and gardens, or taking advantage of the La Source des Secrets spa, which offers a wide range of Ayurvedic treatments.
