One of the most iconic places embodying the refined, bohemian spirit of Saint-Germain… Formerly the residence of Queen Margot, the final resting place of Oscar Wilde, and a favorite retreat for Salvador Dalí, Jim Morrison, and Serge Gainsbourg, this boutique hotel was given a new lease on life in the 2000s by star interior designer Jacques Garcia, who preserved the beautiful spiral staircase leading to the 20 rooms and suites, adorned with opulent tapestries, antique furniture, and stunning chandeliers with dangling pendants. Highly acclaimed by travelers and Parisians alike, the hotel is home to Le Wilde’s bar, which regularly hosts excellent jazz concerts, not to mention a mosaic-adorned swimming pool nestled beneath beautiful vaults of blond stone.
