Overlooking a small canal, Troyes' first five-star boutique hotel, ideal for exploring the old town and its stained glass city, just a stone's throw away. A real piece of history, the place was a grammar school in the XVᵉ century before becoming a convent and a gendarmerie during the Revolution. Restored and transformed into a hotel by interior designer Laurent Mangoust, it has retained the finest traces of its history - the vast courtyard of honor that leads to the hotel entrance or the delightful marquise that extends into a large glass roof in the lobby. The rest of the hotel exudes a warm, contemporary refinement, with the grand salon and the Apothèque Bar offering an elegant, hushed ambience, as do the 54 rooms and suites spread over 3 floors and dressed in white and grey tones, some with a terrace opening onto the cathedral. The spa, housed in the former Gallo-Roman thermal baths, is also flawless, with its dark Bali stone structuring the various areas - sauna, hammam, relaxation pool and cabins offering Sothys treatments and massages. A member of the MGallery collection, this is the chic refuge that Troyes has been missing.
