This name is familiar to opera lovers, as Charles Favart is none other than the founder of the Opéra Comique, whose legacy still permeates this private mansion where he lived with his wife, the dancer Justine de Ronceray. Now transformed into a boutique hotel, this 18th-century retreat features 39 rooms and suites inspired by its prestigious past, designed as cozy boudoirs with their Toiles de Jouy fabrics and powder-pink velvets, all complemented by stunning views of the Opera. There’s no restaurant here, but guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast served in a room that looks like a candy box, as well as a refined wellness area featuring a sauna, a fitness center, and a pool flanked by a small waterfall.
