Prestige Hotel
One of the oldest inns in the region, established in 1874 in a former mill surrounded by a 2-hectare property featuring a hemp-beating floor, pastures, and gardens. Now converted into a hotel, the property has retained all its charm, nestled along the Ill River in the shade of tall willow trees. Perfect for a bucolic getaway, it features 30 spacious rooms with rustic charm, exposed beams, cozy carpeting, and stunning views of the gardens. Also worth mentioning is the large lounge, where guests can enjoy a drink while relaxing in comfortable club chairs, and the spa housed in the mill’s former turbines—now transformed into a wellness area featuring a hammam, sauna, and heated outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the natural surroundings. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the village of La Wantzenau, renowned for its cuisine, is home to several acclaimed restaurants just a few minutes away.
