If you love nature and wildlife, this exceptional place is perfect for you! Imagine a 120-hectare paradise where wolves, bison, and bears roam in semi-wild conditions, dotted with some fifty lodges—most of them built of wood and featuring huge floor-to-ceiling windows. Depending on your mood, you can choose between the “Hameau des Loups,” the “Cabanes de Trappeur,” or the “Yukon Lodges,” designed in the spirit of those North American shelters immortalized in Jack London’s novels. Our favorite remains the “Tanière des Loups,” whose architecture—inspired by the Hobbit houses in “The Lord of the Rings”—features a terrace with a panoramic view of the park and the gray wolves. A unique place to explore European wildlife and global biodiversity—a must-see.
