Ideally located on the banks of the Seine, between Notre-Dame, the Bastille, and the Marais district, this hotel is housed in the former administrative headquarters of the Paris Prefecture (the Morland Mixité Capitale project), reimagined by architect David Chipperfield and the RDAI firm (Denis Montel and Julia Capp) for the interior spaces. The hotel features 162 rooms and suites (including 22 suites) with a luxurious and timeless Parisian interior design. Located between the 7th and 14th floors of the building (which also houses offices and residential units), all rooms are enhanced by a harmonious color palette, high-quality materials, and the most spectacular views of the capital. Equally refined, the Maison Codage spa features treatment rooms, a hammam, and access to the pool and fitness center. Once fully rejuvenated, guests need only head to the 15th and 16th floors to visit Bonnie (conceived by the Paris Society group), the hotel’s beating heart, which combines a restaurant, bar, and club in a gourmet and festive atmosphere with a New York twist. Not to mention a 360° terrace from which to admire the city lights. Finally, a special mention goes to the 122 works of art scattered throughout the floors, including the ultimate highlight: an immersive installation designed by Olafur Eliasson and Sebastian Behmann of Studio Other Spaces, who installed a mirrored ceiling to capture the shifting reflections of the waters of the Seine. In short, a flawless achievement for the Ennismore hotel group, which has opened the first property in the SO/ collection in France.
