Remarkable Restaurant
While the spotlight has recently fallen on this little corner of Savoie, tucked away from Lake Bourget, it hasn’t changed a thing about Michaël Arnoult’s work at his charming inn, which was converted from an old wine cellar. Twenty years after their arrival, Ingrid and Michaël naturally take pride in how far they’ve come to build this loyal clientele; but they also know that it is excellence—and nothing else, at every moment—that keeps them coming back. On this point, the chef is uncompromising: when it comes to the quality of the ingredients, he selects them with meticulous care. Building on this foundation, the chef is always inspired—by crayfish from the lake, féra or perch, wild-harvested vegetables, or Bresse poultry. Desserts feature seasonal fruits, as well as milk and chocolate; hidden menus priced at 220 and 280 €, a very well-stocked wine cellar filled with treasures both small and large, with a strong selection of Savoie wines.
