Open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. on Sundays), this trendy coffee shop—founded by a renowned restaurateur and run by Romain, his right-hand man, and his teams—welcomes you into a warm setting with a 1970s pop vibe. While the kids have fun in their own dedicated play area and the chefs prepare all the homemade delicacies—made with fresh, local ingredients—right before your eyes, parents can take a break. At lunchtime, the experience is at its best with Eggs Benedict and avocado toast. These iconic coffee shop staples are offered here in meat, fish, or vegetarian versions. The ones with gravlax-style trout are sublime. We also love the baked beans and the “Croque Cocotte.” On the beverage side, artisanal drinks take center stage with iced teas, colorful lattes, fresh fruit juices, and Necense organic sodas (cola, ginger, mate, and more). “We’re committed to seasonal, sustainable, locally sourced ingredients—and as many organic products as possible—to prove that great taste, indulgence, and healthy cooking go hand in hand,” says Romain. Be sure to follow them on social media: Instagram (@cafecocottelh).
