The varnished wooden facade, the little curtains, and the handwritten menu with dishes listed in red ink make it clear where you are: in the nostalgic heart of Paris, in the good old days of the authentic Parisian bistro. The menu features all the classics: museau, herring, parsley-crusted ham, frisée with bacon, buttered radishes, 5A andouillette, and Henri IV veal kidneys—along with a few dishes fit for a king, such as sole meunière, veal sweetbreads with morels, or beef tenderloin with Béarnaise sauce.
