This charming brick house marks the eastern end of Cassel’s shopping district. It’s a lovely two-story restaurant with a terrace out back, where you can enjoy simple, inviting, seasonal bistronomic fare. The menu features contemporary dishes, quite well executed: a perfect egg, chilled cream soup with zucchini and basil, cured ham and Parmesan, or an interesting dish of cod, chorizo, zucchini, fava beans, basil pesto, and fregola—which could use a bit more seasoning to be truly compelling. Finally, a pistachio and orange blossom cabbage dish that beautifully captures the season. The service is cheerful and friendly.
