Gault&Millau's review2026
Located just a short distance from downtown, Virginie and Thomas Compagnon’s restaurant stands apart from other dining spots, reigning supreme in its neighborhood. Opened in 2010, the restaurant has weathered the years with consistency and independence, showcasing a fine, mature culinary style. It offers a modern take on Burgundian cuisine, best experienced through the €65 tasting menu, featuring flame-grilled cod with summer vegetable brandade, white trout from the Crisenon farm, a crispy vegetable tartlet with sage, Geneva-style sauce with Pinot Noir, a duck fillet with pan-seared foie gras, potatoes with Taggiasca olives, candied lemon, arugula, a robust jus and vegetable oil, and a dessert of Gavotte pastry with soft caramel, puffed rice, hazelnuts, steamed sponge cake, and roasted coffee ice cream. Friendly service.
