Gault&Millau's review2026
A convenient and reasonably priced hotel restaurant for travelers passing through the Châlon area. A simple, well-maintained setting with a menu tailored to the needs of travelers, offering variety and quality in a contemporary style under the direction of Chef Nicolas Birault: marbled Bresse chicken with foie gras and dried fruit chutney, line-caught pollock fillet with haddock emulsion and saffron linguine, pressed suckling pig shoulder with Swiss chard ribs in chestnut and Fallot mustard sauce, and a mille-feuille with coffee ice cream and praline custard. The à la carte menu is €47, and the wine cellar is notable for its variety of wines from the Côte Chalonnaise.
