Gourmet Restaurant
This pretty bourgeois house in the heart of the region is a 3* stopover of the highest standard, where you can enjoy both the rooms and Cédric Bongeot's dishes, a terroir revisited with skill and creativity. Elegantly decorated, ideal for special occasions, such as family get-togethers, the dining room has a hushed, bourgeois feel, modernized by a contrasting rubbed stainless steel fireplace, which adds a welcome raw touch. Taste-wise, ideas run smoothly: lobster tail in bouillabaisse terrine, sun vegetables and Payoux saffron, monkfish steak in black olive crust, roasted cebettes and melting potatoes, a ballottine of free-range chicken stuffed with griottines and flambéed with kirsch, creamy French peas, waffle apples, a lovely crunch of Roland Balandier's blueberries and Mme Galmiche's yoghurt emulsion. Service brought to you.
