This pretty brick house is a good place to stop on the way up to the château. At Lucille and Julien's, naturalness and kindness are at the service of a cuisine of the moment, firmly rooted in its time, with well-crafted plates, sometimes with a bit of fuss and a lot of sincerity. Bread in and around the plate, generous portions served with kindness: fresh salmon arugula and beurre blanc, free-range poultry cooked on hay, bread and sourdough hay and sage juice, chocolate and beer dessert with petit épeautre brioche. Accompanied by the local Guisarde beer, a small Chablis or a Muscadet.
