Gault&Millau's review2026
In the heart of the Charolais capital, on the banks of the river Arconce, Le Charolles welcomes you for a meal where meat takes center stage. The deliberately limited menu reflects a real commitment to quality and the essentials. The decor, with its elegant sage-green accents and knick-knacks from the famous Charolles earthenware factory, creates a warm, well-cared-for atmosphere. To open, a parmesan quiche with leek cream whets the appetite. A butcher's cut (a tender slice) cooked to perfection lives up to its name, accompanied by a gratin dauphinois and an excellent givry. The owner extends the moment with her smile and good humor, adding the finishing touch to a convivial experience.
