Gault&Millau's review2026
Angoulême's most convivial restaurant, tucked away in the old streets of the town and as well run as ever by Brice Javerzac. A two-storey restaurant where the region's bon vivants come together, at the table or the counter, to enjoy contemporary bistronomy, renewed with regularity. On the menu: spring tartelette, guanciale, ricotta with herbs, roast half-magret, spring stew, prune and black garlic condiment, pig, new potatoes, artichoke pulp with wild garlic, blueberry ketchup, floating island, vanilla and slivers of mendiant. Great atmosphere.
