The scene is set at the Château de Versailles, the ideal setting for Alain Ducasse to tie the knot with this great and noble tradition. This is a fast-paced performance, even punctuated by a sumptuous staging, with a variety of proposals such as the Grand Banquet or the Festin du samedi (the most frequent Saturday feast), and the Festin Royal (Royal Feast), which allows everyone to be a prince for an evening. While the stages are reminiscent of the Grand Siècle ("grand entremets", relevé, röst...), the content is more contemporary, skilfully crafted by chef Stéphane Duchiron: langoustine, crème de laitue, Gold caviar; vol-au-vent of green asparagus crêtes and rooster kidneys; canon d'agneau de lait au thym navets primeurs et blettes... Everything is perfectly timed for a memorable moment, right through to dessert and chocolates from the Alain Ducasse factory.
