Gourmet Restaurant
Right in the heart of the city, this restaurant embraces a vibrant and accessible urban bistronomy. The spacious dining room welcomes a diverse local clientele, served by a dynamic team led by Lucie Plisson. The concise menu, clearly designed to ensure freshness, showcases genuine seasonal consistency and a distinct personality. On the plate, the cuisine features bold flavor combinations. The citrus-glazed langoustines, served with veal bonbon, mango, and bergamot, delight with their balance and precision. The poultry ballotine, accompanied by chestnuts, einkorn wheat, and coffee jus, impresses with its perfect cooking, depth of flavor, and generous portions. More divisive is the dessert featuring chickpeas, praline, and candied artichoke, which struggles to live up to its aromatic promise and weighs down the end of the meal. Special mention goes to the wine policy: a short but thoughtful list, featuring many lesser-known estates, a majority of organic wines, and—most notably—thirteen wines by the glass with pairings suggested for each course, an approach still rare at this level of sophistication.
