Gourmet Restaurant
It’s a charming, newly opened restaurant on the boulevard, right near the bustling Rue Voltaire. Julien Dumas (Zostera, 16.5/20 Rue Pergolèse in Paris) and chef Lucas Boisseau demonstrate that it’s possible to offer simple yet refined dishes at affordable prices in this residential neighborhood on the northern outskirts of Paris. The set menu is well-curated, featuring dishes that are less straightforward than they appear, with excellent seasoning and flavor combinations: mullet tartare with citrus and basil—fresh and perfectly balanced in acidity—zucchini stuffed with ratatouille and served with almond sauce, and a pavlova with red berries. Good service in an atmosphere that could be even more relaxed; a modest wine list with room for expansion.
