At the corner of Clémenceau and République, Abdelkader Belfatmi’s restaurant serves up some of the best lunches in the city, featuring well-executed, modern takes on brasserie classics. The dishes are mouthwatering and put a fresh spin on the classics: tomato carpaccio, anchovy cream, basil oil, burratina, and puffed quinoa; fresh-caught fish with zucchini cream and tomato compote; Sicilian eggplant with sauce vierge; veal sweetbreads with morels in vin jaune and mashed potatoes; and a “dame blanche” with Madagascar vanilla.
