From field to plate. You can't get much more local than Restaurant des amis! This establishment, which also serves as a café during the day, a canteen for village children at lunchtime, a sweet and savoury grocery store and a B&B, works mainly with local producers. Under beautiful stone vaults, Mathilde Dussaud and Morgan Lesieux serve traditional, seasonal French cuisine. Ravioles and omelettes with porcini mushrooms when mushrooms are in season, trout from Villefort, caillettes with herbs, lamb, chestnut moelleux... Even the wine is local, and mostly organic. Open non-stop, Restaurant des amis also serves tapas and burgers. And on Fridays, it's pizza night! There's also a special menu just for kids! Six musical evenings are also organized throughout the year, mainly in summer, where you can enjoy a meal or a drink on the terrace with a superb view of the 18th-century Château de Cheylard and the Romanesque church of Saint-Martin. Please note: in July and August, the restaurant is open from Monday to Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
