This wine has a deep golden color and pleasant aromas of chestnut honey, hazelnut, pear, and eucalyptus. The nose is fresh, with subtle woody notes that are well integrated. On the palate, it is juicy and ripe with notes of peach, caramelized apricot, and flowers. Barrel aging contributes some slightly drying tannins, though these will mellow with time. A pastry-like finish blending vanilla and fleur de sel with lovely bitter notes rounds out a wine with substance and tension. A luminous wine.

After training under Pierre Gaillard, Aurélien Chatagnier began his career as a winemaker in 2002 with 1.2 hectares. Since then, the estate has grown steadily to reach 7.5 hectares spread across the Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie, Cornas, and Saint-Joseph appellations, as well as the Collines-Rhodaniennes IGP. Based in Maclas, the estate has been certified organic since 2022.
