Reflecting a family passion—from Jules, who made his living through mixed farming, to Paul and Guy, the visionaries who planted two hectares of vineyards in 1961—Guy Lamoureux Champagne was founded in 1970 with two cuvées made from Pinot Noir. In the 1990s, with Stéphane’s arrival, the estate underwent modernization. The planting of Chardonnay allowed the estate to diversify and expand its vineyard area to 9.5 hectares in and around the town of Les Riceys. Sacha and his brothers have carried on the family tradition, bringing modernity and innovation while preserving the spirit of an independent winemaker.
