Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
A 23-hectare estate in the heart of Anjou with a long history of winemaking. Owned by two brothers since 1967, the château was taken over by their children in 2021. They then embarked on a profound transformation of vineyard and winery practices to improve the quality of the wines: conversion to organic farming, reduced yields, and limited use of additives during winemaking… The result is a prestige range—featuring Anjou white, red, and village wines, Crémant de Loire, and Côteaux-du-Layon—as well as the “Le Colombier” range of traditional cuvées, which also includes a few rosés.
