Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
In 1962, the Baroville region cooperative was founded in the Côte des Bar. About fifty winemakers joined forces to launch De Barfontarc champagne, a portmanteau of the Aube villages of Baronville, Fontaine, and Arconville. Here, every effort is made to express the personality and originality of their terroir, more than 90% of which is planted with Pinot Noir. The house has successfully developed a wide range of fruity wines, typical of southern Champagne, produced from the 123 hectares of vineyards owned by its members. Guest accommodations, cellar tours, tastings, and guided walks are available to help you make the most of your stay in the region.
