Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
The Devillard family, winemakers for five generations, took over Domaine des Perdrix in 1996. Located in Premeaux-Prissey, the ten hectares or so of planted vines are divided between the appellations échezeaux grand cru, vosne-romanée and nuits-saint-georges. The nuits-saint-georges premier cru climat "Aux Perdrix" is one of their near-monopolies. The Devillard family also looks after the estates of Château de Chamirey in Mercurey, La Ferté in Givry, La Garenne in the Mâconnais and Rolet in the Jura.
