A pure plot Pinot Noir from Bouzy in the notoriously difficult 2007 vintage. The nose opens on white fruit with pear and nectarine, before becoming more complex with notes of crème brûlée, vanilla, rhubarb, mushroom, chalk, then marzipan and fine wood. Tasty, fruity and complex on the palate, with freshness and acidity. A pure Pinot Noir which, without being warm and round, is particularly structured. A gastronomic wine to pair with poultry supreme with oyster mushrooms.

This estate, founded in 1859, is based in Vertus, on the Côte des Blancs. Transmission, innovation and femininity (Sandrine Logette-Jardin is the cellar master) are the watchwords of this house, which produces over 3.9 million bottles a year, 60% of which for export. For over fifteen years, Carol Duval-Leroy has been working to modernize the production facilities, develop traditional distribution channels, diversify the range and expand exports. Today, assisted by her children, she continues to experiment with plots replanted with ancient grape varieties.
