A white from two equal parts blacks for this golden-colored cuvée, with a full, generous nose of stone fruit, apple compote and almond paste. On the palate, the wine is pure and straightforward. Perfectly balanced by the absence of dosage, the fruit makes a natural comeback on the long, even finish.

Jean Pascal, the grandfather, was one of the founders and presidents of the Baslieux-sous-Châtillon wine cooperative in the Marne Valley. His son started out as a récoltant-manipulant in 1986. Since 1994, the 7-hectare estate has been run by Franck and Isabelle Pascal, divided into 44 biodynamically farmed plots (certified in 2005) in five villages. The Pinot Meunier grape is in the majority here. The wines all express a real personality and the most natural vibrancy possible, which the winemaking couple hold dear to their hearts. The wines are also available from the online boutique.
