Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Since 1746, eight generations have succeeded one another at the helm of the estate. The 23-hectare vineyard is spread across the communes of Dizy, Aÿ, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, and Hautvillers, with a predominantly Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier mix, whose vines are 27 years old on average. Antoine and Nicolas Chiquet vinify each plot separately in small batches (40 to 90 hl), and malolactic fermentation is always carried out to enhance suppleness and stability. The lineup consists of five multi-vintage cuvées and three vintage wines. As an independent winemaker, the estate vinifies only its own grapes and is certified VDC and HVE3.
