The nose might suggest that this is a Chardonnay, with its intense freshness particularly pleasing, frank and unostentatious, like a bouquet picked from the meadows in springtime. The palate reminds us that this is indeed a blanc de noirs, with a fullness and intensity that testify to the presence of the miller. Rich without heaviness, fresh without excessive acidity. Just a slender, straight and pure structure for a remarkably gourmand wine where fruit dominates.

Gérin et Fils

Located in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, nestled between the Montagne de Reims and the Ardre valley, Maison Gérin et Fils cultivates 5.3 ha of vines in an environmentally-friendly manner, certified HVE3 and VDC. The range is extensive, with just over a dozen cuvées in all, including a coteaux champenois, a ratafia and a fine. In 2026, the company plans to open a tourist area in Épernay, including a tasting room, boutique, wine library and seminar room.
