Gault&Millau's review 2021

A deep gold color and a fine, regular effervescence make for an auspicious tasting. The nose is seductive, with aromas of mirabelle plums and puff pastry, all with the patina of a vintage. The palate is greedy, with hints of roasted hazelnuts, but never loses tension or freshness, thanks to a mineral finish with a hint of bitterness.

Jacques Busin
Although the vineyards have belonged to the Busin family since the 17th century, it was not until 1902 that Ernest Busin began marketing his own production, which was subsequently developed by his successors. The 10.5 ha vineyard is located on five grands crus of the Reims mountain: Verzenay, Verzy, Sillery, Ambonnay and Mailly-Champagne. Since 2006, Emmanuel Busin, representing the fourth generation, has been at the head of the company.
