A V.O. with a highly original style. The nose is both greedy and of rare complexity. One immediately thinks of the great 30-year-old Château-Chalon wines, as minerality and herbaceousness mingle with root notes of curry and ripe fruit. Aeration opens it up completely to notes of menthol, mirabelle plum cake and fresh quince. What incredible complexity! The palate is just superb, perfectly taut on the oxidative edge, without giving in to it, the Chardonnay giving here flavors found nowhere else. A superb vintage, a must-taste.

Anselme and Corinne Selosse welcome visitors to their hotel-restaurant Les Avisés, located above the cellars, on an 8.3-hectare family estate on the slopes of Avize. Anselme and Corinne Selosse's estate, which has become a cult around the world, is run according to a Burgundian approach and biodynamic-inspired methods, and they claim to be "just doing what's right", while refusing to get bogged down in the logic of labeling. Guillaume Selosse recently took over management of the estate. The wines are divine.
